Intergovernmental organizations that have not received a standing invitation to participate as observers in the sessions and the work of the General Assembly that were not accredited to the UN Conferences/Meetings listed above, and that are interested in obtaining an ad hoc accreditation for 2026 United Nations Water Conference to Accelerate the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all (2 to 4 December 2026, United Arab Emirates) were invited to submit an application addressed to the President of the UN General Assembly by 2 July 2026.

Those organizations whose applications were accepted by the United Nations General Assembly are required to follow the same registration procedure highlighted in para (B) above for IGOs not enrolled in the “eRegistration” system, for issuance of a Conference pass.
No further applications will be accepted
