Registration is required for all representatives of the UN secretariat, UN funds, programmes, regional commissions, and other UN entities who wish to attend the Conference in person, via the online registration system: https://indico.un.org/event/1025173/

UN Secretariat staff members who have been designated to support the Conference onsite are also required to register, through the same link. Registration is now open.

Registration will close on 13 November 2026 at 23:59 EDT. 

 

Important Notice:

Delegations are kindly reminded that, registration is required for all staff and members of the UN system delegations attending the Conference in person. Please use your official UN email for registration, failing to do so could cause your application to be denied. 



What is needed for registration online (to be uploaded to Indico platfom): 



-A passport-size color photograph taken no more than six months prior to the Conference; 


-A copy of a letter of representation or a list of delegation from the Head of the entity or their Liaison Office in New York. Please allow up to 14 days for the review and verification process of an online registration.

Mandatory Host Country Registration

·  In addition to any applicable United Nations registration and accreditation requirements, all participants attending the 2026 United Nations Water Conference must complete the mandatory UAE Host Country registration process through the following link: https://register.unwaterconferenceuae.com/event/6c778ce7-6c3b-4d40-a198-c2d9dcc8c185/register

·  Host Country registration is mandatory for all participants, regardless of whether they require a visa to enter the United Arab Emirates. Participants must complete the application and provide all required information within the specified timelines.

·  This process is separate from United Nations registration and accreditation and enables the Host Country to make the necessary arrangements for participants attending the Conference.
