Our Vision
To build a strong, united, resilient, self-reliant and developed Bharat by empowering civil society as a strategic force for nation-building, democratic governance, social harmony, community resilience and sustainable development.
CNRI envisions an India where every citizen, village and institution actively contributes to Viksit Bharat 2047 through informed participation, constitutional values, cooperative action and ethical leadership. Inspired by India’s civilizational ethos of Sarve BhavantuSukhinah and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, and the spirit of Nation First, CNRI seeks to strengthen India’s leadership in building peaceful, resilient and inclusive societies.
Our Mission — CSRNAM
CNRI’s mission for this era is the Civil Society Resilience and National Awareness Mission (CSRNAM): Building Resilient Communities in the Era of Fourth-Generation Warfare. Recognising that contemporary conflicts increasingly extend beyond conventional battlefields into information, technology, cyberspace, economic influence, social cohesion and public trust, CNRI shall:
- Strengthen civil society as a strategic partner in nation-building, democratic governance and public participation.
- Promote national awareness, constitutional values, social harmony and responsible citizenship.
- Build resilient communities capable of responding to misinformation, cyber threats and emerging non-traditional security challenges.
- Advance cooperative economic development, sustainable livelihoods and grassroots innovation.
- Foster partnerships, research and institutional excellence with government, cooperatives, academia, industry and international institutions.
Strategic Philosophy
“A Resilient Nation is Built upon Resilient Communities.” CNRI believes national strength is measured not only by economic progress or defence preparedness, but by the resilience, unity, awareness and active participation of its citizens. In the twenty-first century, national resilience depends on informed citizens, trusted institutions, constitutional values and empowered local communities.
