The focus is preventive — maternal and child health, sanitation and nutrition security. Member NGOs run community health, sanitation and nutrition awareness at the doorstep; CNRI links this to national health, nutrition and sanitation missions; and aligns the work with the relevant SDGs. The State provides the system and supplies; CNRI’s members provide the trust, reach and behaviour change that make it work in the village.
Positioning. Prevention at the doorstep — health built by the community, not only in the clinic.
Focus. Preventive healthcare, maternal and child health, sanitation and nutrition security.
How CNRI works.
- Local: member NGOs run community health, sanitation and nutrition awareness where the last mile is longest.
- National: linking to national health, nutrition and sanitation missions.
- Global: aligning with the relevant SDGs and international health standards.

Government hand in hand. The State supplies the system; CNRI’s members supply the trust, reach and behaviour change that make it work in the village.
Sankalp. A healthy, well-nourished Bharat where no mother or child is left behind.
