Ms. Shobha Yadav serves as the Co-Chairman and State President, Madhya Pradesh of the Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI). A dedicated social leader and grassroots development advocate, she has devoted her efforts to advancing women’s empowerment, rural livelihoods, financial inclusion, and community development. She has actively supported initiatives that promote self-help groups (SHGs), entrepreneurship among rural women, skill development, and access to education, healthcare, and social welfare. Her work has also focused on strengthening rural credit systems by encouraging financial literacy, facilitating access to institutional finance, and promoting cooperative and community-based credit mechanisms that enable sustainable livelihoods for rural families.

As the head of CNRI’s Madhya Pradesh chapter, Ms. Yadav is leading efforts to expand the organization’s presence across the state by mobilizing voluntary organizations, strengthening rural institutions, and fostering collaboration among government agencies, financial institutions, cooperatives, and civil society organizations. Her leadership is guided by the vision of creating self-reliant rural communities through inclusive development, women’s leadership, economic empowerment, and improved access to credit, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
