Capt. Vishwaranjan Prasad Singh (Retd.) is a distinguished ex-Army officer, accomplished entrepreneur, and committed social development leader who serves as the State President of the Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI), Madhya Pradesh. Drawing upon decades of experience in defence, corporate leadership, and community service, he has been instrumental in strengthening civil society institutions and promoting collaborative development initiatives across the state. Under his leadership, CNRI’s Madhya Pradesh chapter has expanded its engagement with voluntary organizations, youth, rural communities, and public institutions, fostering partnerships for inclusive and sustainable development.

An alumnus with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Capt. Singh served as a Short Service Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army before embarking on an entrepreneurial journey. In 1994, he founded the WWSO Group, which has evolved into one of India’s leading integrated business support service organizations with a nationwide presence in private security, facility management, cash logistics, staffing, training, and technology-enabled services. His vision transformed a single security enterprise into a diversified organization operating across multiple states while generating employment opportunities for thousands of skilled and semi-skilled youth.

Capt. Singh is a respected leader in India’s private security industry. He has served as the State President of the Madhya Pradesh Chapter of the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) and currently holds the position of National Vice President, CAPSI, contributing significantly to policy advocacy, professional standards, capacity building, and modernization of the security services sector. His leadership has promoted the adoption of advanced technologies, professional training, and best practices that have strengthened the industry’s role in supporting national security and economic development.

As State President of CNRI, Madhya Pradesh, Capt.
