Shri N. Balagopal is one of the Founder Executive Members of the Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI) and has been associated with the organization since its inception. A committed development professional and grassroots institution builder, he has played an important role in shaping CNRI as a credible national platform representing voluntary organizations, community institutions, and civil society groups working for inclusive rural development across India.
With extensive experience in community mobilization, capacity building, and participatory development, Shri Balagopal has consistently advocated for strengthening people’s institutions, promoting transparent governance, and encouraging partnerships between civil society, government, and development agencies.
