National Vice President, Karnataka – Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI)
- G. Kulkarni is a distinguished social development professional and the National Vice President (Karnataka) of the Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI). With decades of experience in community development, public health, education, livelihood promotion, and rural transformation, he has been actively working to strengthen grassroots institutions and improve the quality of life of vulnerable communities across Karnataka.
As the Project Director of Doctors for Seva Arogya Foundation, Bengaluru, Mr. Kulkarni has been instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing several impactful social initiatives. His work spans preventive healthcare, education, women’s empowerment, skill development, sustainable livelihoods, and environmentally responsible development, reflecting a holistic approach to community welfare.
Under his leadership, the Foundation has been implementing a range of innovative programmes, including Doctors at School for preventive health awareness among students, Periods Junction to promote menstrual health and hygiene, Adopt a Child Education Programme to support education for underprivileged children, Women Empowerment Programmes, Skill Development Initiatives, and Revenue Generation Projects aimed at creating sustainable livelihoods. He also promotes Krishi Parivarthan ke Jariye Krishi ka Parivarthan, an initiative focused on transforming agriculture through innovative farming practices, along with promoting eco-friendly construction technologies for sustainable rural development.
At CNRI, Mr. Kulkarni is committed to strengthening partnerships between civil society, healthcare professionals, educational institutions, and government agencies. His leadership focuses on promoting inclusive rural development, community participation, and sustainable social innovation, contributing to CNRI’s mission of empowering grassroots organizations and building resilient rural communities across India.
