He has been actively engaged in the promotion of Phulkari, Punjab’s iconic embroidery tradition, and other indigenous handicrafts, empowering artisans, particularly women, through skill development, entrepreneurship, and market linkages.

As National Vice President and Punjab State President of the Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI), he provides leadership in strengthening the organization’s presence across Punjab and advancing initiatives that promote rural livelihoods, women empowerment, artisan welfare, and cooperative development.
